If someone wanted to quit their job and be redpill through financial independence online, what sort of business is best to get into online? What areas are there full with opportunity currently? E-commerce, blog, SEO, affiliate?

I can only say what I've experienced. So be cautious.

1) I was raised for international business (to replace my dad) so I've a few benefits, an inborn or inherited network, assets, and locations available.

2) I started formulating my business 12 years ago, I only purchased the license 4 years ago, I only began withdrawing my share of profit 2 years ago. (I could live on that alone but I wouldn't be happy)

3) my business is very niche, we do traditional game design consultation and contracts, and we do game theory analysis and contracts. We also produce tg in 3 of our own brands and work with colleges to provide paid internships covering world building, game design, coding, and creative writing (specifically ghosting)

4) choosing people to work with is very difficult. Everyone wants to be an owner in some respect, if you can't talk them out of it, you're not set yet. You can't give away ownership though it can result in a quick benefit of recognition in trade.

5) there is no "best place to go" you're presuming there are fields that are equally comparable without considering your own resources, network, time, location, talents, negotiating skill, salesmanship, etc. Every area is a difficult area. Unless you're a prodigy "and you're not, or you wouldn't need to be asking"

6) location is key, having access to a great network also requires being where the network is, tech? Go wc, trade/b&m? Go ec. Anything else? Find a city with a dearth and high demand, study the competition, and make it more valuable, then maybe your MVP won't fail.

Look, I support, love, am, and will continue to uphold entrepreneurship. But answering this question can be done through experience, sweat, and huge risk, not a message on a thread.

Can you give up a few years of your life? No? Then it's not for you.

I'm really not attempting to be discouraging at all, trust me, I love helping people considering entrepreneurship. But it's not something that reading responses alone can do justice to. You're asking for an equation for something in which there is none.

What ever you are going to, always try to start it while you still have a job so you don't create a unnecessary financial burden for yourself. Like with the old saying "the best time to look for a job is when you already have one".
