I bet its a lot of *ahem* "s-c-i-e-n-c-e" *biggest air quotes ever* networks like "History" channel and "Discovery" channel which are 99% reality low-IQ retard material.

I get the feeling she's created a strawman she supposedly overcame to make her already just-fine accomplishment of getting her own tv show approved sound "extra super special". This crap is all over the film/tv industry.

I watched an 'episode' just to see for myself. It's bad, even by science shows for children standards. They're all sub 10-min, and most are a 1 1/2-2 min. Here's one on 'Non-Newtonian fluids', where she spends most of the 90 seconds making slime out of water, corn starch, and food coloring; she says 'Non-Newtonian fluid' a couple times, but she doesn't really say WHAT it is at all. She just makes a pile of glop that you have to toss in the trash because it'll clog your drain.

You see a lot of this crap on YouTube lately. A woman woodworker, doing (badly) what thousands of men have done for years. A woman car mechanic. A woman "astrophysicist" explaining "science". A woman building a cabin in the woods (yeah, sure).

This isn't a new equality. This isn't "stunning and brave". This is the old "sex sells" in a new package.
