Where I am from, ugly girls are just as entitled as beautiful ones. The amount of overweight and badly dressed girls that roll their eyes up when a man they are not attracted to smiles at them is amusing. They have been taught since birth that they are invaluable to men full stop.

My GF used to be overweight but is super petite and smoking hot now. She also went to an all girls highschool. I'd agree with a lot of the things said by OP. She has a Masters and is very intelligent, and has a great sense of humor. Girls that hit their peak early almost never have any redeeming qualities later in life.

This burned me in the past. I dated a girl who used to be an awkward nerd (I mean, I guess she still is, but she's hot now at least). She was incredibly insecure, required constant validation, and wound up cheating (at least once that I know about, but I suspect more).

It can go either way though. If you find a girl who used to be ugly and is now attractive the new attention can go to her head just like any other girl.

Well, from my experience I would recommend exactly the opposite. Ex-ugly/Ex-fat girls tend to have a confidence way boosted up. But they need even more constant approval from others that now they are desired. I dated a ex-fat girl, at some point she was asking me to post more stuff on her Facebook wall so others would see it. She would want to fight people, talk loudly about sex, tell stories that obviously weren't true and so on. It didn't last very long. The only positive thing I took from that short relationship was how beta I was and how much I needed to improve.

Later I realized that it was something common in this kind of girls, so I would keep away from them for LTR, seek them for one night stands, they are easier to pick up.

It's not the ugly ones that grow up not being obsessed with beauty necessarily, it's the ones that were simply that way to begin with. They dressed funny in school, probably had braces and wore glasses even though contacts were available and not because they were hipsters, where highly focused on nerdy things, were oblivious to the fads around them. They probably had bad hygiene, too. Honestly, they're probably a little bit on the aspergers spectrum especially considering how socially conscious girls are supposed to be. But that could change when they grow up a bit and wake up a little and start taking care of themselves.

Oh--and as far as people who grew up religious and didn't get a lot of action and are just discovering atheism--they tend to go wild in their new found freedom (I grew up in the Bible belt and this happens far too often). Girls who act traditional just because they were brought up that way doesn't say anything about what they may become. Traditional people stay traditional when paired with other traditional people.

IMO, late bloomers from both sexes are more down to earth people (on average / in general). They have to get through most of their life on their personality. When they are young, good looking guys and girls get dates, friends, popularity, etc. just by being good looking. They don't need to develop or work on anything else to distinguish themselves. They have too much confidence and tend to be selfish because they can be.

I think this leads to the perception of "jerks/assholes get all the good girls". Most people see this as cause and effect, but I think it really works in the opposite direction. If a person can get away with being selfish and inconsiderate, they will be. The best looking people from both sexes will always attract people, no matter how they act. Most people will abuse this if they have the opportunity...

Of course there are exceptions, and late bloomers don't necessarily turn out good either.
