Not all women are like that

and its twin brother "you cannot generalize" is right up there with "correlation is not causation" on the list of shit no one ever needs to hear again.

[–]shute1 point2 points  (0 children) | Copy

In that askmen thread, NAWALT, NAWALT everywhere.

correlation is not causation

Everyone on Reddit loves this line, until you use it on "poverty and crime".

[–][deleted] -2 points-1 points  (0 children) | Copy

correlation is not causation

I kinda like this one, actually. The first thing I think of is the "red meat is bad for you" shtick but they fail to mention that the study this derives from also show the people who eat more red meat also smoke and drink a lot more. Go figure.

Not all women are like that, and jokes that reinforce the opinion that they are contribute to gender inequality, even if indirectly. It's as simple as that.

LMAO, this dude has a massive corncob stuck up his ass. Why does he speak as if gender equality is some sort of goal we are trying to achieve? Why can't people just stick to the one goal we should all have: finding the fucking truth no matter how ugly it is?

It looks like he accidentally ate some hamster pellets from the jezzebelle cage.

[–]Modredpillschool[S] 3 points4 points  (6 children) | Copy

And now askmen are outright denying evolutionary psychology as a field of study.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

Lot's of people try to hamster their way to discrediting EP, it's kind of sad though, a lot of interesting truths have been dug out of EP.

[–]chiefroaringpeacock0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

I can't even believe people don't believe in evolutionary psychology. Evolutionary psychology describes exactly what I learned in psychology classes, and what I believed before I ever learned the term evolutionary psychology. So when I learned about this I just thought "duh".

Most of these "theories" is just bro science. It works, but its not scientific. I'm just being real.

[–]Modredpillschool[S] 0 points1 point  (2 children) | Copy

I'm going to guess you skipped school.

[–]Methaxetamine0 points1 point  (1 child) | Copy

Can you prove me wrong? I'm not talking about the field, but most of the advice found online, not just on this reddit. Its unproven, unscientific, but worked (at least once). Reminds me of /r/seduction when they make a field report and say what worked (for them). If there aren't any good sources for information, then I assume the information is anecdotal.

The truth is for the author of the fantasy. Remember the fly cannot see the world past the web it is caught in. The uglyness of it is the price you pay for it. The same way that fear is its own powerful awareness once distinguished from the emotional shock it produces.

For some (not just women but some men) they want to spend their reality to live in a fantasy of their own choosing. Most of the time these are the people that believe in you. That word isn't incorrectly or archaic in its use even today.

Dont get me wrong the NAWALT guy is being a doorknob lol im just saying that if our best and brightest fail to remember that they are the designers of the dreams for the rest of us then generations next will be terrible and horrible wrapped in huxlian lies.

[–][deleted] -3 points-2 points  (4 children) | Copy

Finding the truth is a good goal and way to live life, but that doesn't mean it isn't worthwhile to try and make things better, too. They are not mutually exclusive.

[–]Heuristics0 points1 point  (3 children) | Copy

what metric shall be used to differentiate better from worse? can you give a calculation that shows that equality comes out in the better category?

[–]quiet_wish1 point2 points  (2 children) | Copy

Events like slavery in the US, the caste system in India, and the Holocaust in Germany make a pretty good argument for why treating some people as worse than others is dangerous. Any reasonable person can see why those events are undesirable.

I'm not saying women should be treated like men. They don't even like that. But they should certainly be treated like human beings.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

That's like me saying we'll end up in the gulags if we follow an "everyone is equal" line of thinking.

In reality, we should view people as different, even if we respect their dignity under the law.

[–]Heuristics-2 points-1 points  (0 children) | Copy

So you are saying that we should eliminate the prison system, ban competitive sports and give 5 year olds the right to purchase weapons? The calculation you are using gives these results after all.

Lol, don't you find it hilarious that they try to counter generalizations with solipsism?

Logic... does... not... compute... error... logic does... not... compute... error...

The guy's calling out "anecdata" in a soft science where I'd love to be shown where the studies have been done on it. The adherence to tabula rasa in the face of any other claim gets aggravating.

I think the best thing that has happened to me on Reddit was getting banned from both AskMen and AskWomen, and then finding TheRedPill. Jesus Christ are these people OD'ing on 1000mg Blue Pills.

[–]lucidvivid0 points1 point  (13 children) | Copy

I wondered why you weren't posting in Askmen anymore. Thought you got sick of it and left voluntarily.

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (12 children) | Copy

I was close, but Pook didn't like the way I treated other posters and did me a favor.

[–]josephtkach1 point2 points  (1 child) | Copy

Is that the same pook who wrote the book of pook? Somehow it does not seem to me that he would be.

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (0 children) | Copy

VhmPook, moderator of the AskMen sub here on Reddit.

[–]lucidvivid0 points1 point  (9 children) | Copy

That's too bad. I liked reading your responses.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (8 children) | Copy

I was in direct violation to his diplomacy efforts with AskWomen so he removed me, even if he admitted that he agreed with many of my opinions.

[–]lucidvivid0 points1 point  (7 children) | Copy

Diplomacy ... interesting.

I'm sure there was a post not too long ago about favourite AM redditors and your name was mentioned.

It gets stagnant hearing the same old things repeated.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (6 children) | Copy

I had been calling AskWomen - AskFeminismLite and comparing it with ShitRedditSays for a few weeks prior. I think some PMs between the respective moderation staff were exchanged and like any good White Knight he caved and banned me.

[–]zionController0 points1 point  (5 children) | Copy

I've done the same thing here, except its for when people ceaselessly white knight too hard.

You are among friends here, brother

[–][deleted] -1 points0 points  (4 children) | Copy

Flying chest bump, or secret handshake of female oppression?

[–]lucidvivid1 point2 points  (3 children) | Copy

I can see how you would get tired of posting there (read: beating head against wall), but ... it's how I found this sub, so thanks.

[–]RcskaSedd0 points1 point  (1 child) | Copy

Is 'You Just Don't Understand: Women and Men in Conversation" a good book to buy? you suggested that in the comments

[–]Modredpillschool[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

I haven't read it. Just pointing out that even women agree there are communications differences.

[–]Endorsed Contributorpontifx-1 points0 points  (0 children) | Copy

You can't be too mad at them, we NEED the white knights just as much as the church and women do. They are our slaves in the same indirect manner. Yes some of us are ex-white knights, but the only difference there is the want to make your slave as good as you are, a house negro of sorts.

Your doing the good work when you drop reality on them, it is the verbal crack of the whip they need to tighten up their ranks and DEFEND THOSE EGO INVESTMENTS so conveniently installed.

Shoutouts to redpillschool and son-of-man I have read your posts outside the sub and you tend to argue very pleasantly (maybe a little too pleasantly but I can understand if your getting snapbanned lol flys with honey and all)

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
