I think other people have pretty much answered your question but decide for yourself. The media have convinced the masses that these political parties are fucking football teams or some shit that deserve your unquestioned support. Reality isn't as black and white as people want to make it seem, so moderates are left in the middle with no one reasonable to support.

For instance, I think that climate change is probably the greatest threat humanity will face this century and we need to do something about it instead of sticking our heads in the sand, but I also think that the welfare system needs to be completely overhauled and that we should have a strong border/immigration policies. So who exactly was I supposed to vote for this past election?

Realistically I think if you're a massive trump nut-rider you're just as retarded as some blue-haired SJW floozy.

The thing is at least the modern right extolls the value of hard work and being able to make something out of yourself. While the modern left wants to just blame society any time somebody doesn't make it.

TRP is a toolbox that helps you improve as a man.

It tends to be more attractive to folks on the right who are more inclined to place responsibilities for circumstances on the individual, i.e. if you don't like where you are in life then do something about it, whereas the folks on the left would look at external factors. Thus a philosphy of self-improvement is going to be more appealing to the first group.

That said, it certainly is possible to be left wing and TRP, but it's just not very likely.

While it's difficult for people with down syndrome to understand what TRP has to do with politics, everyone who isn't drinking Elmer's Glue and munching on crayons innately understands that a community that was politically censored by the SPLC is political.

What does TRP have to do with politics? Not much actually. But Redpillers, as a natural consequence of their principles, lean more right than left. In addition, the political landscape has changed in favor of the left. What once was considered extreme left ideology is now mainstream, in part due to mainstream feminism.

The fundamental distinction between "leftists" and "rightists" is how they handle inequality.

The political left says: there is no hierarchy among human beings and all people are born equally. Success of some people and failure of others is the result of a corrupted society or a crooked political system. Poor people/minorities are the victims, rich/successful people steal wealth from the rest of the population. The cake is limited and each human being deserves their fair share of the cake. Equality of human beings is a natural principle and shall be enforced retroactively through the means of government, e.g. quotas, discrimination of the successful (equality of outcome). Inequality is a social construct.

The political right says: there is a hierarchy among human beings, all people are fundamentally different and have different abilities. Success of some people and failure of others is the result of the Pareto principle, that governs any creative and productive process (a small minority is super successful at a task, while the majority of people sucks at it). Poor people/minorities are responsible for their own failure, rich/successful people have worked hard in order to come out on top. The cake grows and there is a share for anyone if you take on responsibility and work hard enough. Equality of human beings is a social construct, however, the government should provide equal opportunites for each citizen. It is each person's responsibility to decide what to do with the rights handed to them (equality of opportunity). Inequality is a logical consequence of people having differing talents, interests and abilities (natural selection and survival of the fittest).

Which one resonates more with Redpill principles such as:

"It is all your fault. Lack of responsibility is why you fail. Take on responsibility, change your mindset, concentrate on what you can control and don't forget to lift."

There is a 1:1 relation between right wing politics and TRP. Usually the people who ask these questions are liberals who are ashamed they are allied with beta cucks.

Yes alphas and cucks exist on both sides but that’s not the point. Fundamentally right wing ideology is about personal accountability while left wing ideology is about being a victim and blaming others for your personal failures. That’s an extreme simplification but it works in the interest of time.

To me, the left men want to take my money to fulfil their goals. They want to steal and thieves are one of the lowest forms of life to me. Regardless if they are red or blue. Probably you cannot be red with a reputation of a thief anyway.
