Birth control does not affect attraction. You are not a doctor. Your girlfriend is taking it for period pains. Women take brith control for a lot of medical reasons, and I think you should probably not try to control every aspect of someone's life. That just screams insecurity.

Birth control does affect a woman's attraction in several ways by effecting their sexual strategy. It's also has an effect on changing a woman's preference for a man during ovulation (peak fertility - mid-cycle) and can be easily explained by the ovulatory-shift hypothesis.

"The ovulatory shift hypothesis, posits that women experience elevated immediate sexual attraction on high-relative to low-fertility days of the cycle to men with characteristics that reflected genetic quality ancestrally."

Studies over the years not only suggest but show that a woman on Oral Hormonal Birth Control (OHBC) does not have the usual cycles of behavioral as above but due to the constant influence of OHBC estrogen (estrodial) more likely show mate-guarding behavior or multifaceted expressions of jealousy throughout the 28 day cycle.

A naturally cycling female’s mating behavior and mate preferences consistently and systematically vary throughout the menstrual cycle. When a woman reaches peak fertility (mid-cycle), she prefers men with masculine physical features who have "good genes"(Signs of testosterone) including a masculine face, body and voice. Men who possess various talents and display dominance (Alpha features) through intersexual competitiveness. aka: Think Chad Thundercock! Evolutionary psychology says she is attracted to Chad because he gets around and if she got pregnant from Chad, and it was a male, he would more likely be a Chad also and spread the family seed. Studies find this to be true of normally cycling women during ovulation.

Such changes in preference during ovulation can be easily explained by the ovulatory-shift hypothesis. According to this hypothesis, the change in preferences near ovulation serves as an adaptation for women to mate with the fittest men; men who have "good genes". Phenotypic features can be effective indicators of whether someone possesses healthy genes, such as a symmetrical face. This preference for physical markers of masculinity in potential mates during the fertile phase disappears in women who use hormonal contraception.

Unlike naturally cycling women, OHBC users do not display a shift in preferences across the menstrual cycle. Research has supported a causal relationship between the use of hormonal contraception and a change in mate preference.

Women who were using Oral Hormonal Birth Control (OHBC) at the time of meeting their partner reported lower levels of in-pair sexual satisfaction and attraction. Furthermore, these women tended to be more sexually dissatisfied in their relationship and, when relationship dissolution occurred, they were more likely to have been the one who had initiated it. These findings are consistent with the idea that OHBC use may interfere with adaptive mating preferences and consequently have realizable concerns, beyond the laboratory, for the quality of romantic relationships.

Studies also showed that women who met their partner while using OHBC were more satisfied with non-sexual aspects of their relationship and are more accepting. Also they don't show the behavior during ovulating of unconsciously desiring and acting out craving Chad Thundercock during ovulation (peak fertility - mid-cycle) while on OHBC.

I read a lot of study's that have to do with evolutionary psychology that pertain to Red Pill theory. I find David Buss's work right on with RP theory. He just published his final paper on what he calls "The mate switching hypothesis". This research confirms, SMV value and marriage! It explains women's context specific relationship dissatisfaction, and why that dissatisfaction leads to greater attunement to possible alternative mates. AKA what we in RP know as Hypergamy. I will post about it soon.

Dude calm down. It's another safety measure for avoiding prengnancy and it will make sure your gf won't be in pain every month.

You are not a doctor and apparently have no idea how the pills works(go watch some proper YouTube videos and read wikipedia articles).

If the doctor choose proper pills for her there shouldn't be a problem, lower libido could happen but wait and see.

When I was in college a few years ago, i overheard two girls talking about birth control. One said she had no idea why anyone would ever do it what with it messing up natural processes. No fucking way that shit does women any good. Makes them more insane.
