Forget her. Get in shape. Make money. Slay goals. Flaunt all of the many women you're with on social media. Become the man you've always wanted to be.

Those will hit her harder than anything else you could do.

On your deathbed she won't matter anyway, so why waste your energy on it?

My first girlfriend turned 30 this year. Even though I know that checking out exes on social media is bad, I simply had to look her up for the first time in my life (back when we were in a relationship social media was barely a thing).

She changed a lot in a meantime. She dyed her hair and now she's blonde, which looks horribly unnatural, also adopted several cats and is still single. And damn, she just looks old. I know that I shouldn't have, but I experienced small schadenfreude while browsing her Instagram profile, just because of the way our relationship ended (she ghosted me all of the sudden and left for another dude who she was seeing for some time behind my back). I burned all our photos and letters and promised myself never to think about her again. She definitely brought me a lot of pain back then, and seeing her now with her faded looks, childless and unmarried... I don't know. On one hand, it's just sad to see the same destiny with girls that's repeating itself over and over again. On another, I'm glad that she left me, because maybe I wouldn't find TRP on time and would marry her.

All in all, revenge fantasies bring you absolutely no benefit and can only harm you in a long run if you keep yourself obsessed with exes. Just forget about her, keep improving yourself and seek other women.

you're emotional because you care, and have not articulated the narrative. Start a blog, privately. Write about the event, articulate it in your head.

I think you need to fill up every waking second of your life trying to figure out how to make it better, not childishly wishing her's grows worse.

Anything and everything having to do with improving your life (physical health, mental health, better job, stronger network of friends, side projects) is good.

Anything and everything having to do with her is bad. Checking up on her life through social media, talking about her, thinking about her, all of it is time and energy that ought to be channeled on picking you up, not bringing her down.

Perfectly natural to "feel" this way from time to time. However, normally these thoughts creep into your mind because your current situation is not meeting your expectations. Put simply, when those thoughts start coming, go and do something else.
