Simple, you male (Logical) argued with a female (emotional), never a good thing. As you know it was a mistake arguing with an emotionally charged female because they literally don't understand rational solutions in this state.

I would have agreed with her, told her to go back inside and I'll handle it.

If she assaults someone then she is on her own, our health is one of our great assets and she risks it with this behavior. I know this won't be popular, but I will not risk injury, permanent injury or death to protect a girl anymore(my mother or sisters are an exception). I have an abundance of females and one who fucks up isn't worth fighting over, and the dude can only really take his anger out on me so I have no problem stepping aside or saying she isn't associated with me.

I think a good move would have been to walk to those guys , apologize and explain to please not make it dirty with the bikes. Also make some jokes or compliments
