How to establish dominance over a group of people?

This should be easy. Dry hump all the girls in the club one by one to assert your alpha status. If a male challenges you, threaten to beat him with a rock. If he runs away you win. If he doesn’t you must kill him or you become an outcast and must find another a club.

Make sure you are yelling as loud as you can throughout this process and waving your arms.

Seriously tho, attempts to “dominate” a group are not transparent and people will see through that. Don’t be autistic.

Try this instead: next time the group collectively needs to make a decision on something, such as where the next practice should be held or whatever, take the initiative and suggest something.

Baby steps.

You don't take leadership. You get chosen if you have leadership qualities.

Leadership isn't everything it's cracked up to be. You're essentially saying that you want extra responsibilities, and to be held accountable for an entire team of people. Do you enjoy social multi-tasking? Are you good at juggling multiple people's strengths and weaknesses in a way that can keep a situation copacetic and peaceful? What experience do you have motivating others to work together?

Many people make the mistake of assuming that Alpha = THE LEADER, and assuming that The Leader = The WINNER. This is not so.

I'm not saying this applies to you, but these aren't just the questions you should be asking yourself, you can bet your boots these are the questions the teachers and senior classmen that select the next generation of leaders will be looking to answer about you.

For now, excel at every task given to you, and then demonstrate leadership abilities by taking the initiative on tasks that haven't been done yet. Do extra credit. Establish individual relationships with as many people in the group as possible, and form a unique dynamic with each one, so that they feel comfortable talking to you and trusting you. Demonstrate by example that you're organized, efficient, on time and empathetic to multiple types of people.

This should get you started if this is what you really want. But if you don't end up the leader, try to go easy on yourself, too. Being in charge isn't as fun as you'd think.
