I apologize for shouting as i will be but hopefully this will help demonstrate the magnitude of this.Naturally I am assuming that it has actually been filed and so on if not then get a bloody lawyer anyways having a lawyer you know and have rapport with will never be amiss.

1 GET A LAWYER and when the cops come DO NOT TALK TO THEM it will not help you as they can much more easily make you contradict yourself than they can prove you are guilty . they see their jobs as proving your guilt they will be cheating do not trust any of them

get the lawyers number and call them immediately and do not make statements just shut the fck up and wait you are going to want to prove you are innocent ,Dont. Get the lawyer and don't tell the cops shit either don't say "i can prove i'm innocent" or "i didn't do that". SAY NOTHING and get a lawyer that says SAY NOTHING. I literally can not stress it enough .Say nada, jack shit ,squat and then when your lawyer arrives consult him on every single thing that you say (make sure they advise you not to talk and dont think talking freely is safe)!!!!! especially if she was under the age of consent when you met. you have the 5th amendment USE IT and as to why take it again

They are going to try everything to make you talk I am assuming you are a us citizen in which case you dont need to just insist on a lawyer and say "I am not comfortable talking untill my lawyer arrives i am taking the 5th" then if you are taken for interrogation do not say shit call your lawyer and only say that untill her arrives I realize i just said it twice It is that important. They will want you to feel that you are guilty they will use anything to make you think you are guilty they will even try get you to apologise just remember STFU and talk to your lawyer cause you are not going to get through this on your own. They are going to make accusations that you raped her they will spin stories they will literally do ANYTHING to get you to talk because that is what they will work this.

2 gather evidence you need proof she wanted it and that you didnt coerce her and you need some way to prove that she was capable of making the decision to have sex with you at the time she was under aged don't make her look like a slut, you are looking for several things in fact stuff to prove you have a relationship especially if you can still have a positive relationship with her that will be good and if she made any big life decisions around that time then that will be good. DO NOT SAY "she wanted it" shes going to say she felt pressured i had an ex say that despite me reminding her literally after every pic that she doesn't need to feel compelled to do so .

Then you need proof you relationship wasn't about sex so you need proof that you were taking her to places and stuff in ways that were non sexual basically you are wanting to paint it as a normal relationship and again DO NOT CONFESS that means NO STATEMENTS no I AM INNOCENT no I DIDN'T DO IT no I DIDN'T RAPE HER and especially absolutely noo BUT SHE WANTED IT. gather all the evidence and have it ready to go and i hope i really hope you don't have nudes of her nor asked for them directly

also if you can get proof her mother is especially prejudiced against you then that will be lovely especially if the girl told you in a message about her mom being manipulative or abusive or anything like that and remember in court do not try smear her and be subtle about her mother

oh and they will 1000000% come get you in class simply because it is what will affect you the absolute most emotionally and make you likely to say something stupid

understand if she sent you nudes in plain English its coercion , statutory rape , grooming , consuming child pornography and you will likely be accused of producing it as well. You need evidence that drags your relationship out that life back into a normal one so that the Jury will not convict you.If you are an idiot , if you contradict yourself if you confess you are in deep deep shit deal with it now so that when they come you can keep your cool

tl;dr read the bloody paragraph, being lazy or unwilling to prepare is going to land you in prison on quite a few very nasty counts.

Statuatory may be in play regardless, so coordinate with your lawyer to see if you can use the evidence that she was willing and encouraging to see if you can get it lessened in a worst case scenario.
