So I met this girl, and I was crazy about her, but she had a husband. I figured it was best not to peruse her, but I still wanted to leave her thinking about me, so I did.

Fast forward a few months, we've talked for a bit, now she starts venting about her husband to me. I defend the guy because her complaints, frankly, were ridiculous. She starts telling me more and I start to understand. He said fucked up shit to her on a regular, even knocked her around once or twice.

Fast forward a few more weeks, she starts to admit she has feelings for me. She says she wants to leave him for me, and I'm okay with that, because fuck that guy. She claims she can't leave him just yet. It just wasn't a good time. I was a bit stupid in this decision, but I didn't wait until she ended her relationship.

Fast forward a few more months, it just turns out to be an affair. She comes to see me while he's at work, we fuck, she goes home. That isn't really what I wanted, so I washed my hands of the whole thing.

I made it clear that I wasn't going to jump into the role of caregiver, but I thought that wouldn't matter. I thought she'd rather be with a guy that can satisfy her emotionally and physically. Nope. The guy that apparently can't fuck his way out of a wet paper bag without going into what appears to be an orgasm seizure after a couple seconds and falling asleep is a keeper. Why? Because anything she wants, she gets. He has a great job and probably makes triple what I make.

I'm washing my hands of this one, but in the future, should I narc on women that do this? Does my sympathy towards this guy fit with TRP ideology? Any other input would be great, as well.
