Give 'em a soft next and just go solo. Do some logistical groundwork, scope out a few venues, identify a club that can be 'your' spot in this town.

Finding their buses is a bit overkill and will seem controlling, but also girls are random and you never know what's really going on so it might not have mattered anyway. Don't worry about it.
