Its a really complex answer and I feel other posters on here aren't giving credit to the complexity that is our modern health crisis. Its just our medical system is fucked and the way that we view the human body is not very holistic. Its something that noone wants to hear, but more often than not, medication is a last resort solution. Have you tried cleaning up your diet? Watchng less TV? Sleeping more? Sadly, the modern american doesn't even realize that their diet may not be proper. Its not that people are lazy, but people don't know any better. They take the advice of a guy in a labcoat and forget that our genes and body WANT us to be happy, healthy, and full of energy. Western medicine doesn't acknowledge the true complexity of the body, and attempts to remove symptoms

It's not just women getting drugged up. It's young boys too.

Government has to keep all the sheep in line. It's easier when half of them are made docile with 'prescriptions'.
