Why do women always talk trash and pretend to move on from alpha guys on social media?

Couple of reasons.

1)Jealousy/mate guarding. She (subconsciously) wants to improve her chances in the future by assassinating his character in front of all her female acquaintances. Acting like she's rejected him is a way to (theoretically) lower his SMV to them, and 2) to draw her friends' attention. She wants to get the gravy wagon of obligatory hurrumphs and commiserations going from all her toadies. 3) Most importantly to hamster away, by pretending to act in public, how she's believes she should feel, but doesn't.

Of course any woman who has ever used this tactic herself will probably see right through the emotional smokescreen and be more intrigued by Chad thunder-ex. "he treated you soo badly, hun....*

Note that anything posted on social media is almost universally attention/validation seeking behavior. The goal is pure "Narcissistic Supply." This applies equally to men and women, it's how most social media websites are structured to their core. (knock on wood.)

This is why, for example, facebook use by men is such a good predictor of insecure/feminine/beta personality traits.

Women are never responsible for their own feelings, it's always someone else's fault.

If they say something awkward or stupid, everyone else is weird for making it awkward, or you didn't support her enough. If they can't do something, the people in charge of the something they want to do are wrong. If they break up with someone, he's an asshole she put up with, and nowhere will you ever see it mentioned how the fact that she's been dating an asshole for 4 years is any reflection on her character or intelligence in mate selection. If what you say makes her feel bad, you should be banned from saying that thing.

It's never her fault that she feels the way she does. This is also why her happiness is based on external circumstance, largely beyond her control. If she's bored it's someones fault, not her responsibility to improve her life and stop being bored. Take her places, make her happy, keep her interested, coddle her.

So naturally, when a breakup occurs, everything is his fault. She is awesome for putting up with him or getting out or whatever. And everyone will rally to support her despite the fact that this guy she's bagging on was chosen by her.

She feels bad. This is obviously his fault. He's not there, but social media is. Her "friends" can make her feel better.

How many women post inspirational bullshit quotes from somewhere else all over social media? How many articles are written with the idea of improving themselves? The only thing I can even think of that falls in the realm of self reflection or improvement is weight loss and cosmo's "sex tips he'll love."

I think deep down some recognize this. But in what is perhaps the ultimate irony, instead of changing it they blame other people.

They wanna get a response from the alpha guys. But obviously these guys don't give a fuck, and thus this makes the girls go back to them.
