What it seems like you're doing is the seduction equivalent of going to a gym for the first time in your life and trying to bench press 300lbs. All you're going to do is hurt yourself.

You're focusing on the results, not the process. Anyone can become a cocky guy when consuming alcohol, but you'll punish your liver for it and the girl will be disappointed in the morning when she discovers it was a beta in an alpha's body (false rape claim, anybody?).

Go to /r/seduction and there should be a post about handling approaching like you would a gym workout. Title is: "A 'workout plan' to become a pickup beast.". I'll provide the meat and bones of the post in case someone finds this later:

Days 1–10: Foundational Stage

Make eye contact with a stranger.

Start conversation with a stranger at a coffee shop.

Wear something really stupid that makes you feel uncomfortable

Days 11–20: Building Real Muscle

Make eye contact with a stranger without looking away and smile.

Approach someone an attractive woman and ask for the time.

Join an improv class.

Share an embarrassing story with a person you admire.

Start a conversation with a stranger in a grocery store.

Days 21–30: Dude, You’re A Beast

Approach any woman and ask for her phone number.

Wear something magnificently weird in public. (for your fear of rejection)

Do something magnificently weird in public (i.e. dance like no one is around, snow angels in the department store)

Compliment a woman on something other than her looks.

Talk to 5 women you’re attracted to in one day.

It also wouldn't hurt to read up on outcome independence. Your objective when you go out to the bar shouldn't be to get laid, but to have fun. Girls can smell thirst like a sixth sense.

Yeah, after coming out of a relationship you need to re-internalise everything again. It took me a long time to do this, probably much longer than initially internalizing everything that made me attractive and able to pull my ex and other girls. For 95% of men LTR's allow them to build extremely bad habits and thought processes that take a very long time to unlearn.

I am still continuing to internalise the RP, a very long time after I first became aware of this philosophical outlook (back when it didn't have a name). Interestingly posting on and reading TRP helps me a lot.
