She was probably "the one", the perfect woman, a woman who knew you so well that you could never be unhappy while she was committed to taking care of you and all your needs. Life is meaningless because she's not there by your side, squeezing out beautiful, well behaved children, keeping the house clean, meeting you at the door with your slippers and a freshly grilled steak.
Seriously, whatever visions you're having while pining for this woman are fantasies. At 3 months you were still in the honeymoon phase where everyone puts on their best face and is well behaved. Even if you had a connection, there are a few billion other women that might work out better for you.
