Could be any number of reasons:

1) She's riding the high of being with the most Alpha man she's been with to date. Or if she's in the honeymoon phase where she's pumped full of feel-good brain chemicals.

2) She knows firmly that she cannot do better

3) She has other motives, like a wedding and having kids, as higher motivations

4) She is in the infinitesimally small group of women who were raised firmly to be loyal and devout.

All women, by their intrinsic nature, are apt to cheat. There is no such thing as an innately loyal woman. All she needs to cheat is opportunity and an easy avenue to make the transition, barring the above external conditions.

You're not understanding what AWALT means in this context.

It means, GIVEN THE RIGHT SET OF CIRCUMSTANCES a woman will cheat.

There's nothing magical about that statement itself, since men will do the same thing, the circumstances are just different than that of a woman.

For women you typically need the following:

1) A man of higher SMV, the amount higher greatly influences whether or not she will cheat.

I might have a slightly higher SMV then some other RP dude with a hot girlfriend, but slightly higher SMV by itself is not enough to get her to cheat.

However, if Justin Beiber comes along and asks her to get in his Lambo and jump on that cock, she'd do it in a second.

2) She needs to have some emotional motivation. This can be tied to SMV but it helps explain why women cheat with guys who have overall lower SMV.

examples:

Boyfriend pissed her off so she feels like that's a good reason to cheat on him.

Or, went hiking with 'platonic' male friend and sharing the spectacular view at the top with him makes her feel some emotional connection to the guy that gives her the tingles.

This is a false pretense.

Every woman has virtually unlimited opportunity to cheat.

She can go out with a sign taped to her back that says, tap me on the shoulder if you want to have sex.

She can go sit at a bar by herself and do absolutely nothing other than say the word "yes" or nod her head, and she can get sex.

Well /u/redpope was in an STR, not LTR and the girl was a 33 year old CC rider. As such she had too many partners at that age to reliably pair bond to him. She was also dope smoker and likely it wasn't the first time she fucked her dealer to mix business with pleasure and save herself $20. Take a girl that marries her first boyfriend, whom she met on her 16th birthday. That boyfriend is the only 1 partner in her life. She comes from religious family with both parents and no daddy issues. Doesn't drink alcohol or take drugs and got married in church so while she can get a state sponsored divorce, in the eyes of her religion she married for life.

There would be a massive difference between pair bonding of a 33 year old CC rider vs a 33 year old wife who only ever had 1 partner.
