Thought I'd ask my favourite sub for advice here...

I'm doing a STEM degree. I'm almost finished but I'm just so not interested. I don't have the fire that I once did have in the first two years. I'm now going to finish the degree in 6 years when it should have taken 4. During the time, I got distracted with other things (business ideas, working more, living with a girl who cheated during my exams one semester, etc.).

It's a top university and it felt awesome to get into it to begin with, let alone a hard degree. But after the second year, I don't know what happened...I have massive regrets, every day I get pissed off that I could have finished two years ago, and that I haven't made the most of it. My GPA is still good because I haven't actually failed anything; I just lightened my load whenever I had other stuff going on.

So the current situation is I'm in my second-last semester, and have exams coming up. I'm pretty far behind. I have some big assignments and tests this week and I just DGAF.

Any words of advice to just push through this shit for the next 1-2 months (to finish this semester, then I have another to go)? I've tried nootropics before but they only made things worse. My diet is good and I work out. I do everything else RP, but with my education, I'm just so apathetic now.

Maybe just writing this out will help, because I've been bottling up these thoughts for the last year or so, and I've been trying every gimmick to get back that fire (like I said nootropics, different study methods, etc.). In the end I don't learn something well unless I grind. By that I mean poring over textbooks, going through derivations myself, etc. I wouldn't be surprised if I have some attention issues. I hate sitting through lectures.
