Basically, three months ago, on our first date, I had already told her that I despised nail polish. Ever since then, on every single date, she would make sure her nails are clean before we meet up -- to please me. She'd even apologize if she forgot.

We had an argument recently and she decided that she should prioritize herself more over the relationship (she used to be "madly obsessed" with me, worshipped me from the ground up, and was super clingy). She broke up to kinda assert dominance, cuz she realized how much she sacrificed for me but "got nothing back", but I talked her into giving it a second chance.

Either way, tomorrow, I will meet her for a quick breakfast date somewhere close to my home. Just now, she made a Snapchat story of her "picking her poison (nail polish)". It's clear that she's doing this to piss me off and probably to make her feel more powerful in the relationship.

I'm not really affected by it, although if, in the long run, she keeps playing these games to assert her power over the relationship instead of submitting to me, I will certainly end things. Not sure how to react to her nails tomorrow, frankly I don't give a damn especially since she's doing this on purpose to piss me off. If she continues doing these things, I honestly don't even wanna waste my time meeting her in the future if she's the type that's gonna play games and shit. On the other hand, it may be that I'm overly sensitive.

I intend to just make note of the nails tomorrow, laugh at her being goth, and just carry on from there, not giving her the satisfaction of eliciting a negative emotion inside me.

Thoughts?
