I have been seeing this girl since New Years a couple months ago, and we've been seeing each other at least once a week for the last 3 months.
She actually weighs more than I do. So that's a factor. Just tuck that away in your brain and keep reading.
I have been really busy at work and didn't hang out with her for 14 days and then she got mad. I tried to start talking to her then and she has been screening me, more or less. Only when I do the child-->mother type comments: "Why aren't you talking to me?" does she respond.
I'm not apologetic to her. We haven't been dating. Because of the physical attraction factor (which is somewhat weak) I've been pretty light-footed with the whole thing, though there is still some crevice of my mind that (used to be able to) imagine us being together in the future long term assuming she lost some weight.
The thing I want to learn from though is the time period. What is the half-life of love in a typical relationship? 7 days? I know by the time you get to 14 days its slashed by 75%, and I'm really surprised by that. Don't mean to be so autistic about this, but I think the half-life model works at least in terms of measuring the damage of being apart over time.
Am I going to have to NEVER be out of touch for 14 days or more from now on if I want to have a LTR (marriage)? Is that a thing? I see romantic relationships like friendships, honestly, and 14 days of absence doesn't hurt things, especially if you're not officially dating and she's only asked once in the past 14 days if you wanted to hang out?
14 days huh. I need more edification here. Don't understand it (when you're not officially dating or married but just hooking up from time to time)
