The Alpha meets his own needs through his life and choices, and the women he spends his time with benefit from this.

The Alpha is self-interested and successful in meeting his needs from the world, shares his bounty but doesn't fixate on 'her' as the source of his fulfillment. The beta meets his needs through 'her' and uses up his credit until he goes into debt or she refuses him altogether.

Meet your needs through the world and your choices, through the things you choose to do with your time. The bounty spills over and attracts 'her', and she will be your companion, but don't go into debt for sex.

If you are getting sex as a reward and not a desired activity you should instantly examine the relationship because it doesn't sound like it will benefit you. Sadly most women think like the one in your example. But I guess she knows that she is just a vagina.

The difference between the two scenarios is subtle and already pointed out to some degree by others.

An Alpha provides because he can, without expectation of anything in return; a King's largesse.

A Beta is trying to trade money for sex or attraction. This sets up the quid pro quo of sex for things, and is a losing battle for a man. A woman has an (essentially) an endless supply of sex, and you will run out of money before she runs out of sex.

Additionally, an alpha will neither cultivate nor tolerate any semblance of entitlement from his girl. If you give her a necklace this month and she expects a bracelet next month, you either reset her expectations or you head down the road of being a BB.

By keeping rewards unpredictable, you maintain your frame.
