So I recently cut things off with a girl I've been on and off with for the past 8 months. I'm a junior in a college and she was a senior. Unfortunately, she didn't take to that really well and it didn't help that her friends kind of ditched her for me. The reason I broke things off was because I started liking one of her friends and didn't want to lead my ex on anymore. So the friend and I have been talking and she said that she wants to hookup but my ex is really sad so she wants to wait before doing anything.
The friend said, "Just know that I'm not saying no, I'm saying no until I say yes."

So I said, "I'm coming for you <insert friend's name>."

Then she responded "I can say no for as long as I want until I'm ready."

How do I respond to this after she is making such a power grab?
