Hey TRP,

Relative newcomer here. I've been lurking for some time. So about a few weeks ago a guy I befriended in one of my university classes introduced me to his girlfriend and his extended group of friends, which included a lot of women. Now my friend is pretty thoroughly Beta, his girlfriend has him whipped but I've been holding my tongue on the matter.

Anyways, I made an off hand comment about how some of his girlfriend's friends are attractive (they're about 7's) and long-story short, the comment circulated from him back to them. One of the other guys in the group let me know that they view me as "scary" or a "psycho." No comments on me being "creepy" but I view these comments in the same light. I've swallowed the pill a while ago and have been conscious about making an effort to improve myself.

So far I've just finished a weight loss goal of mine (20+ plus pounds gone) and now I've started lifting since I went from fat to looking like a walking stick. I also have been making an effort to maintain better frame in situations, things like keeping my cool and being emotionally detached. My question is, is this contributing to their view point of me being "scary" or is there some other factor i'm overlooking?
