Am I right to be pissed?

Absolutely, this woman is besmirching your good name with nasty lies.

I know for a fact some of them are begining to beleive her, what do I do? especially if she tried to take this further?! HELP

You need to set things straight by getting your own story out there. When people bring it up to you, go ahead and tell them, "No, that's not true; what happened is X." Don't get angry or defensive--just be matter-of-fact about it. Your calm delivery of your own story will carry great weight if you're known as a man of integrity. If you're able to bring most of your friends over to your own side, her spreading of lies will reflect negatively on her.

The other thing you can do is confront her about it and tell her to stop spreading these nasty rumors about you. (if you do confront her, it's good idea to bring a friend along as a witness, and possibly also to record the conversation). This could go either way depending on her reaction.

I don't think you should be that worried about her "taking this further" because I understand that usually in order to press charges police will require physical evidence (but IANAL).
