Well, kudos on the body language read. But anyone can be roofied, so no prob with easy detection, they are gonna make a ton (and beta it the fuck away).

I've been reading about color reactive rohypnol, etc. for at least a decade and haven't seen it on the market yet. I'm glad because this will make false rape accusations easier but probably do little to prevent actual date rape. All a woman has to do is drop the roofie in her own drink and stick her finger in and, oh look, you're a date rapist.

Would have expected this to be invented by four female chem undergrads, what with women being so good at STEM and rape drugs being such a pervasive problem. Anybody have any idea why it was men that came up with this?

I think it's freaking brilliant. This is science put to good use and I hope it becomes a staple in all nail polishes in the immediate future. I don't see the relevance in knocking down the creation's existence or mocking the creators. I'm glad this exists and want the women I know and don't know to have easy access to it.
