Gotta love old fashioned women who say things like "wait for the one" .. grandma had it right all along.
Not only is 8 partners the upper limit of what many men would be OK with, her advice is completely sound, she's putting herself at risk for contracting STI's.
Fucking society these days, a (effectively) doctor, giving you GOOD advice for your health, is "offensive" and they should be fired. (That's the top rated comment)

Its funny how the use of that word is attributed to men the same way the use of the word bitch is attributed to men. That's why feminism campaigned to "reclaim" the word slut the same way they did with the word bitch. "I'm a bitch and a slut so what!" Yet those words are used as weapons among women against women far more than it is used by men.
I'd like to see feminism reclaim the word whore. "I'm a whore and proud of it!" I'd laugh each time it came up.

Slut shaming is silly. Really, it's puritanical and encourages women to lie about their body count. I've known many sluts who were fine people, I just wouldn't wife one up.
While the partner count and divorce rate correlation is certainly something to take note of, I don't believe in magic penis. Meaning, I don't think a woman who has a lot of partners is fundamentally changed by having so many partners and turns from someone who would have made an ideal wife into a shrew who would screw her husband's best friend, divorce rape him to death, and steal the pennies from his eyelids. Correlation is not causation. I think even if she had been married before she racked up the big partner count, she'd turn out not to be compatible with the institution anyway.
Besides, unless from a very religious family, what kind of chump is tying the knot these days?

But of course, what looks like practical advice about being smart about who you let into your various orifices is interpreted as "you're a WHOOOOOOORE".

There are studies out there showing that the amount of oxytocin produced weakens with the more sexual partners you have. Weaker oxy makes it harder to become attracted and bond. So yes, you are fundamentally changed by having so many partners. Weaker bond and you're not as driven to mate-guard or preserve the relationship.
If you pay attention to women with high N counts who eventually get married or settle down, you'll notice they rarely speak about the men they settled with with passion. The "jerks and assholes" who pump and dumped them they'll recall with hate, the husband they "love" might get a passing nod of "I admire him. I respect him. I love what he does for me/our family". Rarely will they say "I want him".
This is something more men need to be aware of. It definitely changes them on a fundamental level. There are tons of studies about this.

Yes, there are. But most of the sources for those are strongly aligned with abstinence-only sexual health organizations. Most of the actual sources of their claims are studies that don't reach any solid conclusions about oxytocin's role in human emotions.

You missed my point, which is that sluttiness does not cause a potentially poor wife, but that the two appear to be correlated. Meaning, the cause may be something else entirely, such as growing up without a strong father figure.
