Being a nurse is a dream. You have to put in some long hours to get through nursing school. In the end you make a ton of money and work 3 days a week. People I work with are pregnant all the time. Lots of people work night shift to be present for school drop off/pickup. You could even work 2 days a week with little ones. Your job is portable and in demand and you could follow your husband wherever his career takes him.

It’s a feminine job, it makes me feel good, the skills also help when caring for your own family. If you want to be a nurse I highly encourage you to do this.

I'm not sure what the shift options are like for nurses, but it's a matter of your goals and desires. If you'd rather be working as a nurse than a full time SAHM or other career choice, you can still cultivate your femininity and RMV to become an excellent wife.

However, if you foresee enjoying homemaking enough to be able to do it as an occupation, perhaps with some side jobs or working at home, perhaps a demanding occupation like this is not ideal.

Either way, it's not an instant no generally. It all depends on your situation, desires and options as far as time commitment for work.

Nursing is actually more flexible scheduling wise than most other professions, which require you to work 9-5 or something similar.
