In Camille's post on Relationships Dynamics, she uses some very vivid imagery through examples in movies/television. I thought I might do one myself here that I just came across and thought was so funny cause it is soooo true. Here is a great example of Branch Swinging.

Movie: The Wedding Singer 1998

Don't keep reading if you don't want any spoilers lol

Preamble: This is the day after Linda doesn't show up to her wedding to Robbie.

Robbie and Linda from the Wedding Singer

I’ve been talking to my friends the last couple of days

Haha. Dis gon be gud!

I’m not in love with Robbie now. I’m in love with Robbie 6 years ago.

Pretty sure 6 years ago she was in love with who she thought Robbie WOULD be.

The point is I woke up this morning and realized ‘I’m about to marry a wedding singer?!?!?’ I am never going to leave Ridgefield.

Always wanting something greater. Never appreciating what she has. A man who works. A man who loves her. A man who treats her right. Nope. She needs the fast life.

Oh yeah living in your sisters basement with 5 kids while you’re off every weekend doing wedding gigs at a whopping $60 bucks a pop???!?!?

OMG the sarcasm and the entitlement. GAH!!! I feel dirty watching this.

I thought this was such a good movie. Drew Barrymore who shows him that he is perfect who he is actually inspired him to pursue his dream rather than trying to browbeat him into submission and get him to man up.
