**Following the Red Pill path as a Teen or Young man**
There was a post earlier today from a high school student asking for guidance and I felt compelled to respond. I’m not entirely sure if it’s because I work in a school system and can see disenfranchisement in these boys or something deeper. Regardless, I have attempted to take my previous response and formalize it into a structured essay. This is by no means the only way or even the right way. It is simply the way I have come into myself and had success. I should also note that I am only 23 and still in the process of applying these theories to my own life. This does not make my advice any less valuable, I would just like to add some perspective for those reading.
** Planning the adventure down the Red Pill path**
I often refer to goals, dreams, ambitions, etc as a path. For the purpose of this essay I will discuss A Red Pill path. This path encompasses 4 key areas which I call Pillars, they will be introduced shortly. I believe this path and other Red Pill paths are the roads seldom traveled. They are difficult, but deliver immense reward once navigated. With this in mind I recommend all those new to the Red Pill prepare for the journey. Get your mind right and find the willpower needed to take this adventure with our community.
From your entrance into high school (some earlier) and into your early 20’s there is a need for freedom and experimentation; a need for social acceptance and self discovery. These can be overwhelming and distracting. It can cause the best of us to become drug addicts or take risks without thought of repercussions. I am a culprit of both and fought against myself beginning at age 12 to unlearn the traits my own father bestowed upon me. I have found that by BALANCING 4 Pillars I have been able to succeed where many in my shoes fail. They are as follows: Health, Finance, Education, Social. I would Like to do a follow up post breaking these 4 Pillars down into 3 parts of a circle (divided into Individual, Family/Friends, and Professional). For the remainder of this essay we will assess each Pillar and what we may do to maximize our own capabilities in adherence to them.
**The Four Pillars**
Health:
Our bodies are paramount. When a mans vessel is finely tuned it is capable of incredible achievements. You will find that developing your body is intensely rewarding. It teaches discipline and patience. It produces an increase in confidence, SMV, and general performance of daily tasks. You will be able to go for longer when you maintain peak health. How is this accomplished? Physical exertion. Lifting is a must. You should also find some form of cardio. You don’t have to be a body builder. But you should want to look and feel like you could step onto a battlefield and chop down your adversaries.
Diet is extremely important. Without proper nutrition you will not gain mass, you will not get cut, you will cause your body to atrophy and you will feel weak. I suggest that those who have not already done so head over to one of the many subreddits dedicated to these topics.
We must also not neglect our mental health. The mind is our most valuable tool. It is what can turn a weak man into the most powerful man and a lumbering giant into a jester. When I talk about mental health I do not mean only for those with “issues”. We all have issues. No one is immune to life and anyone telling you different is a big fat liar. You must find alternatives to what has become standard practice in the medical world. Prescriptions, either self or doctor prescribed are thought to be the answer to your stress or inabilities to cope with life. These are mostly lies. You need healthy outlets. Meditation is vital. Something that brings you into the present moment. Golf or hiking or staring the waves by the beach. Whatever it may be, you need to find it.
Finance:
I hope that some members of our community more experienced can add to this section. I have some financial experience. I have fucked up, I have recovered. The sweet tastes sweeter when you have had the sour. You will also fail, you will recover in time with diligence and discipline. This is a time to learn how money works. What it is to have and have not. How to save and when to spend. Focus on saving. Save as much as you possibly can. An emergency fund should be established for the problems that are out of your control. If your car breaks down you will may not be able to pay other bills due to the unexpected expense. Learn to mitigate these obstacles. Take a look at /r/personalfincance. This community is full of moneywise individuals.
At this age you may also be looking into college. I will never suggest to avoid education, however, what you have been told is a lie. Expensive school does not translate to high paying job. Actually, the likelihood you will make enough to even manage your finances coming out of college is relatively low. This is unless you are seeking a STEM career, even then you have only a slightly better outlook. I never realized this until I got my current job. I was the chosen one of 50 candidates. Many with a decade or more experience and masters degrees. Men with families would kill for the opportunity to take my job and it made me see how lucky I was to be in the position. Do not spend beyond realistic means on your education.
This is TRP and as such we must discuss the SMP. In relation to finance you should be frugal as fuck. Do not spend money on women. If you must, spend as little as possible. TRUST ME, you can still fuck her anywhere, anyhow you want without breaking your budget. A cheap or free date can consist of stargazing at the beach. This is my go-to since I live on the coast. Isolate and escalate. Keep frame and you can’t go wrong. You may even be blunt and tell her that she needs to earn that special date. Most times that will just make her deep throat you a little harder for future encouragement.
To sum it up; learn to budget, save cash, invest in yourself, plan your long term expenses, get the puss on the cheap.
Education:
You should be achieving to your capabilities academically. Do not be discouraged if you are not a top tier student. School is rigid and lacks the ability to engage different learners. I was terrible in school, but once I entered a trade I could apply my passion physically and I ran with it. Get the grades if you can. The purpose of school is to teach you how to teach yourself. It does not prepare you for the real world. You must prepare yourself.
Start reading. Read everything you possibly can. Stay current with world events. Brush up on history. Read about your body and mind. Learn how to develop your capacity for deep thought and critical thinking.
You want to have a well rounded base to tap into. Sure you can be an expert on Middle Eastern philosophy, but if you never learned how to work that wetvac and your basement is flooding what good are you? What happens when you are on your way to an interview and get a flat tire? Can you afford to reschedule and wait for AAA to save your ass or do you have bills to pay and a need for stability?
Education is not just book learning. It is real world practical skills. You are a man and men can’t wear a high skirt on the side of the road and have anyone stop to help them out. We have to do things for ourselves or we die. Reality is hard. You fail to learn how to manage life and you could be out on the streets as a bum. You could be dead because another bum wanted your shoes or you were selected to get the shit beat out of you for a gang initiation. These are extreme scenarios, but the world does not discriminate good and bad people. She is just hard on everyone.
Social:
I save this Pillar for last because it is the focal point of TRP. It is very important at this time in life to experiment socially.
For the high schoolers, people change on a dime at this age. Social groups constantly shift and Ms. popular is now the school skank with no respect. By senior year she is on top again and "forgiven". It's all a load of horseshit but it will be a good primer for how people work.
For post high school, people are still changing. You will begin to establish adult relationships. These are different. People have lives and socialization is not the primary focus. This is a good time to reinvent yourself if you have been lacking in this department. You now have mobility, make new friends and seek out new women.
You need to gain strong male bonds. Look for any groups that builds this tribal culture. These guys will go to bat for you and will help influence you. A good general rule is to surround yourself with people who are your equal or above. You want to be brought up and learn, not to be brought down. You are only as strong as your weakest link. This is especially true in the field where you may have low value friends. Women smell the value of a man. You will be guilty by association and have to work much much harder to achieve the same outcome you desire.
I want to make it clear that this Pillar is incomplete. That is until you have balanced the other 3 Pillars along with it. When the 4 Pillars are in harmony your SMV increases drastically.
** The journey that never ends**
I’d like to conclude this essay by saying that this is a life long path. It is similar to an exponential curve in that it starts off slow, but accelerates exponentially once momentum is gained. You have an advantage over most men that you must not overlook. Youth. You are free and uninhibited. You have the ability to do with your life as you desire. You must only create the means to get there. I have embraced this path and I can never go back. I’m amazed daily by what can be accomplished through TRP. These Pillars I have laid out only expand as you gain life experience. This is why balance is key. Do as you wish with this information, but bear in mind that I have put the time and energy into formulating my thoughts and experiences into this essay. If this lifestyle didn’t work, do you think I would have written this? Or would I have posted about being plugged in and confused about my life? Take off the rose colored lenses my brothers. It’s time to see with clear eyes.
***TLDR: Get Jacked. Get Money. Get Skills. Get Smart. Get Tribe. Get Girls.***
