She was a plate since september, official since december. Started off rough with some fights in December. Things settled down, got much better. Mostly fights caused by me, hadn’t settled into the idea of monogamy after spinning so many plates until recently. Totally concious choice though, I like the idea of being exclusive with someone for now. By the way we met backpacking and are traveling together, so we live in the same room in a hostel. Trp in extreme mode, but ive got contingency plans and rent is paid weekly with no contract so i always have an easy out.

Anyways, for the past month, things have steadily been getting better, and im a bit skeptical. She goes out of her way to do sweet things for me or special things for us. She does things or acts a certain way becauae “she knows I like it.” She cooks for me alot, cleans our place. We fuck almost everyday, sometimes for two hours at a time. Just this past week, I’ve seen her incredibley horny, even more than usual. This throws me off because we had a humongous fight on saturday last week where I was packing my bags on my way out the front door until she begged me not to go. Dont know when she ovulates, shes on birth control.

She’ll show the occasional bit of disrespect, but doesnt even know I find what shes saying disrespectful, until I call her out on it. And when I do, she never does it again.

Another thing that gives me a weird feeling is that everytime I come back from work and shes waiting at home for me, we make out a bit, but then shes a little distant from me. Kind of in a “hes not being that affectionate so neither will I” kind of way. But the moment I make her laugh and put my arm around her, she goes full cheesy affectionate and doesnt stop kissing me and hugging me. It follows the 2/3 rule but still confused why shes a bit more distant for the first hour or so.

Anyways, things have been improving alot and im skeptical. Any insight?
