Dude, we're hardwired not to be made cucks. It's bound to give us anxiety. In every other case of "did she cheat" I saw over here I usually made this reading.
Guy is upset with the relationship because of a million reasons, brain wants out, guy won't break up, and brain hacks itself triggering some hardwired mechanisms, such as "don't be a cuck", to cause the guy to break up.
In every other case I said it because the guy was upset at his girlfriend. But it doesn't look like it's your case from here. From here it actually looks like you were depressed and someone triggered a really fucked up switch. It's particularly easy to trigger it when people are insecure btw.

All i can understand is that your mom hates your wife. And seeing you calling that guy or asking a polygraph shows that you are a boy with no frame. You need to deal with other issues first than your wife.

If she cheats on you after being together for 28 years, it's really not that bad. It's not like she's going to get pregnant with someone else's kid. And it isn't cheating if you leaves you for being a blackhole that sucks the happiness from everyone's life.

Stop focusing on the negatives that didn't even happen. Just remember the good times and live life day by day. You're depressed because you're fighting a battle you can't win. Stop fighting that battle and get over your depression.

Word of advice. No one here knows your wife or her sex life. Do not let Anonymous internet strangers who are mostly less than half your age decide the fate of your marriage. You are a grown man, act like one. Only You know if you love her, if she is trustworthy, context of the situation, her personality/behavior,etc and only you can make that decision.
