What you're not taking into account is that lifting provides confidence. For a short guy, it is even more necessary to be irrationally confident than for a tall guy. Lifting will give you that, or at least contribute strongly to it. Lifting (especially compound lifts) will increase your T levels, which will also help you with women as well as motivate you to pursue them.

You can either give up, and spend the rest of your life masturbating bitterly, or you can be a short guy who is jacked, well dressed, and has tight game. You can't control being short but you can control your physique, your attire, and your game.

Finally, lifting is a good thing for its own sake, even if it doesn't help you with women.

Also, perfect yourself before you pursue. Before I went off to college I was this typical beta fuck. I played sports and was muscular but I had no communication skills whatsoever nor even knew how to pick up a girl. That changed when I went off to college last year.
