What do you do when you ask a girl out for the first time - let’s say you propose drinks for Wednesday night and she says she’s out of town until Thursday...do you say “ok let’s do Thursday” or do you say something like “alright let’s try again next week.”

How do you respond to something like that? It seems like she’s leaving the door open for Thursday, but at the same time, I don’t want to be too available. That said, the longer it takes to go out for the first time, the less likely it is to happen.
