As predicted, women accorded more weight than men to socioeconomic status (SES), ambitiousness, character, and intelligence, and the largest gender differences were observed for cues to resource acquisition (status, ambitiousness). Also as predicted, gender differences were not found in preferences for characteristics unrelated to progeny survival (sense of humor, "personality").

So women looking for husbands care less about looks and more wallets

Makes sense, but they have to be specifically looking for husbands (betabux). They only do this when they can no longer right the cock carousel per female dual mating strategy.

So if you statusmax, you can get yourself a good used up gold digger

What’s also important here is how they debunked the structural powerlessness model. Another bit of feminist nonsense bites the dust.

Women will look for resource acquisition potential even if she expects to make tons of money herself (the rich want to get richer)

Yes, in fact Ellis (1992) covers just that, by name. See here.

Awesome, thank you. What are you using to bookmark these collections of studies by the way?

A good memory is all. I generally remember things very well if I read them. If I've posted them, I feel like I get a sort of generation effect. You'll also like this.

This makes me think. Since women demand more earning potential even if their own is high, wouldn’t that imply that a woman is at the top of the socioeconomic hierarchy rather than a man?

If their demands are met, sure. At some point in time, their bargaining power peters out. This does remind me of a Tacitus quote, though:

Adjacent to the Suiones come the tribes of the Sitones, resembling them in all other respects, and differing only in this, that among them the woman rules: to this extent they have fallen lower not merely than freemen but even than slaves.
