Depending how long awhile is, and on how old you are and how old he is and what "phase of life" you're in and he's in, you could start talking about your own attitudes towards children and having a family, etc. If the guy is 35, and he just bought a house, and you're 23 your odds are probably a lot better than if the guy is 21 and he just moved in to a house with 7 guys from his frat, and he's considering doing a semester abroad, and you're 25.

How often are you seeing this guy? If you're hooking up with him 1 night a week, that sounds more like plate territory. If you practically live at his house, that sounds more like an LTR. You could try meeting his parents at major holidays. If he's introducing you to his mom and dad at Thanksgiving, that's a good sign. If he's covered in tattoos and you met him at the club, probably a bad sign.

From a TRP prospective, the guys that are stable enough to want to get married and have a family with you (betas) tend to be way too boring for you to want to have sex with. The guys that are sexy that you're attracted to (alphas) tend to fuck a lot of different women and refuse to get locked down. If you do end up in an LTR with an alpha, you'll probably change him so much that you are no longer attracted to him and wonder what it was you saw in him in the first place.

I would never consider an LTR with a girl who wasn't a virgin before me, but I am a bit conservative. You'd be a plate for me. Don't know about your guy though. Cook, be feminine, and cheerful, pursue your feminine hobbies, but don't cling to him either. And remember, preselection doen't work for women.
