Okay, so here is my situation in a nutshell. I would really appreciate some solid, mature advice from you folks.
- I am a 32 year old man
- I have a degree and a mix of past work experiences (including photography, writing and English teaching abroad)
- I have mental health difficulties and i am estranged from family, with no friends
I am about to move away from my hometown to a City, to study full time as a Postgraduate, and work full time at an internship. My problem is coping with the stresses, the routine and overall JUSTIFYING all the stress and hard work for low pay and low rewards.
Although I know if i do not do this, my options in life quickly plummet. And despite not enjoying the work on the University course, i think it is worthwhile getting it, if i can cope with all my new stresses, socially, financially and mentally.
It is important to note that, i do struggle coping with stress and big changes in life, and in the past, in similar circumstances things can quickly deteriorate, without support or hope on the horizon. And i can, often, isolate myself as a coping mechanism, which makes things worse.
Some solid, practical advice would be great, thanks guys.
