Sociopath woman CEO of Theranos. What do you guys think?

The Theranos, Elizabeth Holmes, saga is not a woman thing. It’s a Silicon Valley culture thing. If you know what it takes to be a successful Silicon Valley startup founder, you know you won’t get far unless you have that ruthless sociopathic trait to tap into. To quote my favorite book on the SV topic, Chaos Monkeys, ‘morality, such as it exists in the tech whorehouse, is an expensive hobby’. You’re willing to do whatever it takes or you don’t bother playing. Capitalism is bloodsport there.

Come to think of it, it’s my favorite book of all time (Audible).

What's interesting and disgusting is how she has gotten a pass from the DOJ. Her fraudulent behavior caused tremendous losses, something like $900 million+ if my memory is correct. Yet the U.S. Attorney's office is going out of its way not to pursue criminal charges against her. Why? Because if convicted, the sentencing guidelines would call for her to be in prison for the rest of her life, and the DOJ can't stomach the thought of a pretty white female going away for life. I say put her in prison where she belongs.
