So a girl from my social circles I hanged out with once I am seeing next week. Not a lot of things happened. I didn’t quite kino escalate or did anything besides talking and having fun discussing bullshit.I can say we got pretty comfortable around each other. We agreed to meet up for some sushi and then go for some beers next week ocer text. I thought everything was set to escalate and make a move that night but she just told me that one of our mutual friends (a kind of a best friend to her) is joining us.

I should call it off, am I right? She’s already seeing me as a beta orbiter so there’s no need to proceed? How to cancel it without coming off as butthurt?
