Pretty sure I read in the comments the dude had cerebral palsy. They were laughing at a guy who physically couldn't defend himself.

The main reason why he went a support group, or for anyone to go to a support group, is because he needs to know he isnt alone. Domestic assault victims, substance abuse users, etc - all have support groups because not being alone is healthy

Secondly, do people even know what the term beta means? Its somebody who is weak, afraid of change, and who is resigned to their fate and does nothing to change it. Does this sound like someone who takes the brave step of going to a group and trying to get emotionally stable? WTF.

If anything, the people mocking him in this thread seem to be the ones that are pretty weak.

It is true that it is a little amusing because the odds are so heavily stacked in his favour and yet he can't respond in a proper way.
