Some other reasons women are costly:

-Though "on paper" a woman may have a degree from the same college as a man, it is often a less challenging major. Also, college tests memorization and repetition; whereas the skills of ideation, drive, and practical creativity are much higher in a man. If you're paying the same for both (because "on paper" they seem to be the same), you end up getting a LOT less output from the woman.

-Women bring their jungle-era instincts into the workplace, often giving importance to people with high social status (ie: based on height, etc; as if they're still in HS), rather than professional seniority or meritocracy. This seriously sabotages an effective and professional work culture.

-Young women are manipulable in the work world just as in their personal lives. An alpha salesman can get them to sign off on a bad deal, just as is done at the bar. The office's 4 walls don't change the fact that the modern woman is relying on her deeply flawed "intuition" when it concerns other people. Company can easily lose tens of thousands of dollars this way.

"In any event, the introduction of shared parental leave from April will mean men as well as women taking leave to look after their new baby. This will help to stamp out outdated stereotypes about who should do what, and let parents get on with making their own decisions about how they manage work and family life.

Oh great ,now men can go on leave too! This won't solve the problem. It doesn't fucking matter if it's a man or woman going on leave they are still losing the employee for X number of months.
