I, and a lot of other men I know, do a good number of things on this list. What, just cause we're men there aren't people out there who want to fuck us over? Getting sexually assaulted might not be as much of an issue but those same guys harassing lone women on dark streets are going to be the same guys who pull a knife on me for my wallet. They don't just give us a tip of the hat as we walk by because we both have a dick and balls hanging between our legs.

The multiple to references to subways, taxis, etc, makes me think she lives in New York or San Francisco or some other congested area. If she is that afraid, she should move somewhere less congested and cheaper.
