Thats not really the issue. It's not that one can't it's taking it all in aggregate.

You're more likely to be well off if you're tall, handsome, white... but it's not guaranteed.

Source: Visible minority (though no one can tell me which one) and I see the differences. raised 'white' and was fairly upper tier income growing up.

Best way to describe it. think about every negative interaction you've ever had. Maybe less than mine, maybe more. Now imagine having that lingering feeling in the back of your head... Was that, me, or was that guy judging me for x?

You can never know for sure. But you do get justification for the concern. Usually you'll have friends at some point there watching one of these 'interactions' and they give you a 'that would never happen to me' thing, or surprised it even happened that way.

It's not anyone sitting there with a KKK hood under their desk, it's mostly subconcious... I can only imagine a black guy in the states, I definately don't have it like that, but it's just annoying.

Though there are some of us who have the attitude that you 'don't get to make mistakes' and it does develop a measure of perfectionism, which is a good thing IMO.
