Don't be an alarmist. TRP is religiously, sexually, and politically independent. We don't give a fuck what you believe in as long as you take your pills. Granted, believing in the core tenets of TRP and remaining a leftist/marxist would take quite the mental gymnastics. However, being a strong conservative doesn't fit in either.

Being someone who works in politics, I can say confidently that 8 out of 10 times the conservative woman is more attractive.

This is just off the top of my head, but to me conservative ideology, at least in these times, is like a cult of anti-intellectual selfishness and privilege that borders on sociopathy. This seems like a worldview "pretty" girls are more likely to defend because they're more indulged and pampered by society generally speaking. Unattractive girls, on the other hand have probably had to develop more of a sense of empathy as a result of being ignored or denied special treatment, or even fair treatment at the hands of society, and thus liberalism is naturally more appealing to them. Also, conservatives spend billions on marketing, focus groups and things like that, so they're more likely to make sure the people selling their product are attractive.

I don't mind if an author I like isn't hot though, and I think it's kind of weird to analyze this. Choosing politicians based on how fuckable they are is what women do. Choosing them for their positions, even if they're women, is far more productive. Same with writers, like Ayn Rand herself.

Ayn Rand did not consider herself a Libertarian, but her ideological beliefs more or less align with the philosophy behind the movement. She didn't like labels, which I can respect, but it's pointless to argue that she doesn't fall under the general umbrella. Just because a girl in a club tells me she isn't a feminist doesn't mean I get excited and think I won the jackpot.

I agree with this. My original post was made tongue-in-cheek to some degree based on the same line of thinking, while at the same time, I do think that if a woman knows something about Objectivism, it can be quite a turn-on (for me at least).

Nevertheless, it's important to pay careful attention to the subject of this thread. Re-read it very carefully. Despite my claim, this isn't about "hotness," per se, it's about physical features, not necessarily mental ones. Frankly, having been raised around multitudes of conservative women, they can be quite hideous inside and out, in my experience.

I see that. I still think this is circlejerking bullshit for both sides of the political spectrum. The reality is that liberals like to eschew gender norms and conservatives generally like to preserve them, so it's not surprising that elected officials from each party physically resemble what their constituents want them to resemble. But based on this study, conservatives can go "See? Our women are prettier and more feminine!" and liberals can say "See? Our women are more progressive in their appearance and businesslike!" and it's dumb.
