Context: Patrick Stewart is telling a story to his girlfriend, she begins to interrupt, he comes back at her jokingly to get her to let him finish, redditors think this is abnormal behavior and only possible if you're a famous and wealthy actor.

It's only possible if you have the balls to put someone rudely interrupting in their place. Blue pillers see this behavior like it was Clash of the Titans, but I call out my gf on this shit all the time

I do this all the time.

Interrupt me once and you get a free pass. The second time I firmly but politely say "Let me finish." Third time on I'm not polite about it in the least.

He says it jokingly, but you can also tell he has absolute authority. The comments in that thread are incredible, especially the guy who says his wife would just laugh at him if he told her to shut it.

This is just what happens when you have low self esteem. You think women have sex with you due to luck or circumstance or some kind of smooth trick. And that they really got it good if one sticks around, better not mess that up, etc. Nothing good will come of that. You can't love anyone else if you don't respect yourself and nobody will want some hapless sorry person to love them.

"Shut up" has worked for me. You don't whine in your tone, you don't get angry, you just calmly tell them to shut up. Has never failed me.
