I've advised women in other threads that they should avoid hooking up with ANYONE for their first year or 2 of college to avoid exactly this sort of stuff and that they'll be thankful later on that they didn't. I cant' tell you how many articles I've read over the last couple years of women lamenting hookup culture and the part they played in it.

This gets me thinking – if American colleges are full of tequila-drinking sluts, and form the perfect environment for getting heaps of random ass, is anyone actually getting anything else done?

Here in SA, there are tons of opportunities to pick up girls around the university environment, but that whole scene is pretty distinct from the actual studying part. It seems like the last thing on an American student's mind is eventually making money, which is uhh… yeah… different.

I guess I'm trying to pinpoint exactly what the differences are, because a lot of the US college-game stuff doesn't really seem to apply here…

The students who actually get things done are usually the ones studying engineering, science, math, etc, of course there are always the exceptional party animal who can hold down good grades in a real major while partying like animals, but they are few and far between.

As someone who doesn't really think they have much game, college is like shooting fish in a barrel as far as hooking up with girls go. You don't need game at college, just a pulse.

Also, always network with adults regardless of age differences. For example, you can still have access to a lot of college-age pussy post-college if you befriend younger people.

Girls definitely don't care about your age, so just get close with some younger guys and have shared social interests. Your access to younger girls increases, and you get the loyalty of young men who you help out with their life and careers.

People tend to box themselves into only interacting with certain groups or proceeding down the set path in life. That's ultimately a limitation.

Don't get a girlfriend.

I can't stress this enough. College is a pussy buffet. Why would you restrict yourself to only one dish?

With very few exceptions there will never be another time in your life when you will have such easy and ready access to a multitude of single women. Take advantage of that.

Rush or no rush? I'm transferring in as a sophomore to a big university from some small shithole. I have no problem going out and meeting people but I feel like a frat might facilitate the entire process.

This is a huge advantage to not only all the access to girls, but to information normal students won't have access to.
