That sub has really gone down-hill. It used to have practical advice on how to improve your profile and send better messages. Now its mostly screenshots of awkward profiles along with overwrought snarky insults. Don't even bother with the comments anymore, its a blue-pill sarlacc.

Basic common sense 101: online dating is for people who live in isolated locations with a small dating poor, and for urban people who want to meet those, but not for two urban people both with huge date pools to meet up!

The person in that thread is complaining that women don't even reply to his messages, and then is just assuming that they don't want to go on dates because they're not replying. Women do want to go on dates, that's why they're on OkCupid. They're looking for men. If you can't manage to be charming on an online profile, where you can literally say whatever you want about yourself, then you suck. Can't take a picture of yourself from an attractive angle? You suck. Can't craft a quick, interesting message of greeting? You suck. Can't manage to leave out the depressing factoids of your sad little life for just one or two paragraphs? You suck! There's no excuse for not making yourself look fantastic on the internet. Ladies get tons of messages on sites like OkCupid, why in the name of God would they reply to someone who sucks?

Depends on your area. Keep in mind that women who can't get dates in real life go on okcupid and other similar websites for a reason. Often it is too late before you discover what that reason is.
