This is a great post!

We have our laundry in a divider: his (work clothes - rough and dirty), mine (different other work clothes - mainly dark and professional), and towels, etc. When I fold his, I'm humbled by how stained and destroyed they are. He is retired but constantly working hard on masonry, construction, and literally building assets for our life together.

I did his laundry today! Feels great to know it's one less thing on his mind that he has to get done. We don't live together so it's nice to be able to be the "laundry fairy" or "dishes fairy" for him.

I love this. Sometimes I wonder what I did to get so lucky, to have a man like I have, but I've definitely been guilty of being ungrateful of how hard he works when I only want to spend time with him. Thanks for sharing!

I did his laundry yesterday and while putting it on the laundry rack he comically judged my work. I also cleaned his desk and his Wii U shrine. But we go on a spa weekend in one hour paid by him so I got that going for me which is nice : D

I loved this post. Little 'aha' moments are my favourite. I've been really working on practising gratitude... I know my husband does a lot for our family, so it's a good feeling knowing he doesn't have to worry about laundry or chores.

On a side note, I have to say that love how positive this community is! This post came up on my newsfeed earlier with some less-than-positive comments about the writer's relationship. It's so refreshing to have found like-minded women here who take pride in making their husband's lives easier, too.

Our washing machine has been broken for 9 weeks now and our landlord keeps stalling. This is like salt into open wounds (!) however I love love love the concept and have just sent it to my husband. I am so often at the end of my tether when he comes home and although he always gets a meal and a hot drink, I feel I need to work at being cheerful and a soft place to land rather than a tirade of complaints.
