I know how important having a strong frame is, but I still have a problem with this.

I get very easily dragged into someone else's frame, both internally (it affects my mood and thoughts) and externally (my actions and words are different from what they would be if I kept my own frame). I am confident that if I fixed this many areas of my life would improve.

For example: I am in a good mood at work, focused and productive. Someone starts talking about something (For example, that the gov't is going to increase taxes for our business). I get dragged into a long and exhausting conversation about this, and even though nobody has any proof about anything, I keep researching it for the rest of the day in a panicky mood, and it ruins my day.

Another example: I have a friend who is kinda not too socially adjusted. He is extroverted and likes meeting people, but he gives off a cringy vibe that drives girls away from him. He then starts talking to me about how it is impossible to get laid, how girls only go for 6' 4" or taller guys, and shit like that. I was feeling pretty confident (I am decent looking, 6' and fit), but after talks like this my whole vibe goes to shit and I tend not to approach, and somehow ruin it even with girls where I had something going on.

There is always some beta that is scared and keeps saying defeatist shit, and it tends to pull me down into the overthinking/inactive mindset.

Other than avoiding these people ( which I don't think is possible, also even some fairly alpha guys I know have their "down" moments), what advice do you guys have on this?

I know that TRP emphasizes the importance of frame, do you have some articles / resources about what can I work on to improve this?
