Summary:- She's not special, she's only special because you give her value. You're too lazy to meet other women that's why she's "special"
Body
As humans we form relationships through memories. Memories are what makes someone special. The memories you share with a girl is what makes you see everything through rose-tinted glasses. All the good times you shared, out of everyone in the world only she has experienced those moments with you. Makes her special right? I can relate. Had a good friend then turned to my gf. We had spent loads of time together, I was certain this would work well. Because after all. She is special?
WRONG
You've given her that value. Her value before you met her was 0, after you met her it increased. She hasn't changed physically, so what has? It's your perception of her that has changed. You've become comfortable. You're enjoying reminiscing with her. You might not realise it, but the inside jokes you share the times when you go "Oh do you remember this?" and link events that's you reminiscing. It's a comfortable feeling. It makes us feel secure because we know what happened, we know the happy ending. And mostly we remember the good emotion. It's really addictive in a way isn't it? All those moments shared create a feeling of attachment, all other women start to become invisible. You've now raised her above all other women - she still hasn't changed. So here you are. One-itis.
I have one-itis, I'm not sure how to stop the feeling?
The one-itis is caused by your perception of her. You percieve her as a goddess, the more you fixate upon her the more she shines. Her absence causes you to idolise her more. That's why dead people become idolised - because they are absent. You feel that comfort in your own thoughts about her. You don't want to meet others because they aren't the same. You're going to have to restart the process of adding value to her from your perception. That is a long process. And as humans we don't like effort. So what's causing your one-itis? Lack of abundance? Yes. It's also laziness. You're too lazy to meet other women. You don't want to go through the effort of creating another relationship. You don't want to risk destroying that safe comfortable thought of Miss Special. Because after all. Those thoughts are your refuge.
Why Abundance will kill one-itis
Abundance will kill it because you won't be able to develop so many idolising thoughts of multiple women. Really that's it. You can't idolise multiple people it's near impossible. That's where the IDGAF mentality comes from. You realise they are replacable.
I don't get lots of women - need to kill my one-itis
- Go fucking lift
- Go change your perception of Miss special. Try your hardest, try to make a list of shitty things they've done.
- Go fucking lift
The takeaways
- One-itis is caused by YOUR perception of a woman
- One -itis is cured by changing that
