This means absolutely jack shit, because the poll was based on feeeeelingssss. There is no hard data used in this survey, just how people felt. A better listing would include actual police reports of, say, stabbings, murders, and rapes that occur on transport systems. I don't find it that surprising that New Yorkers rate their system so highly. New Yorkers love to promote their city as the best best best! If anything this survey really demonstrates that NYers think highly of their city (and by extension--themselves).

I had two friends who went to NYC for the first time as mid-20 something year old Asian females (which means most people think they look like they're 18) and what did they say when they got back?

"People in NYC were very nice and complimentary"

"Most people just ignore you cause they seem busy"

"The musicals were awesome"

Exactly. This is hype driven PROPAGANDA. It shouldn't take much intelligence to determine this. Yet, the global hamster wheel is spinning off it's axis...again. And they want to be taken seriously....it's a huge joke.
